ANDERSMANN Deep Ocean 3000M DLC

This black beauty is the new DEEP OCEAN DLC from Andersmann. The Deep Ocean is one of only a few Swiss mechanical wristwatches with a water-resistance of 3000 meters or more.

While its 3000 meters of water-resistance is no mean feat. , the Deep Ocean has a lot more on offer besides its impressive depth-rating as it is literally brimming with cool features.

Its case is constructed from Grade 5 Titanium not Grade 2. It has been used for the Deep Ocean’s case and all of its components.

Grade 5 is far more durable than other grades of Titanium and is already far more scratch-resistant –

couple this with the Deep Ocean DLC’s new diamond-like-carbon coating and you have an incredibly resilient piece of kit.

The Deep Ocean DLC’s Grade 5 Titanium case has a diameter of 47mm, a thickness of 20mm, a lug-lug measurement of 56mm and a lug width of 26mm.

It is fitted with a DLC-coated G5 Ti screw-down crown, a 4.5mm thick double-domed Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a DLC-coated Grade 5 Ti case-back and divers bezel.

A Helium Escape Valve can be found at 9 o’clock. It has been signed with an ‘’He’’ the chemical symbol for Helium. The DLC-coated unidirectional rotational divers bezel has a matte-black ceramic inlay.

Its clean matte-black dial has been complimented by an ocean-blue, lollipop-style seconds indictor and matching 3000M text.

Powering the Deep Ocean DLC is the same Swiss automatic movement, the ETA 2892-A2 as the regular version.

Keeping it firmly secured to your wrist is a high-quality texturized black rubber divers strap, embossed with the Andersmann logo.

In addition to the fitted divers strap is 1x additional leather strap and 1x spare rubber divers strap.

The Andersmann Deep Ocean DLC Ref. ANN0982 is a Limited Edition of just 100 pieces.

It will be available to order direct from the Andersmann online store from mid-May 2017, priced 2480CHF.
