OMEGA Seamaster PLANET OCEAN 600M PyeongChang 2018 LE

OMEGA is set to fulfill their role as the Official Timekeepers of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics which are to be held in South Korea next year.



This will be OMEGA’s 28th time as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games and as is tradition they will be celebrating with a special edition watch or two.



As the Winter Olympics reaches PyeongChang in South Korea, OMEGA is celebrating with a new version of the their famous Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M divers watch that will boast features inspired by the Winter Games.



This 43.5 mm watch captures the colors of the South Korean flag with a polished blue ceramic dial and unidirectional rotational diver’s bezel, blended with red rubber for the first 15 minutes. This theme is continued through the blue and red rubber strap.



This Planet Ocean comes in a presentation box with an extra stainless steel bracelet.
The Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 logo is included on the POS’s Sapphire crystal caseback. On the Planet Ocean, the words PLANET OCEAN and LIMITED EDITION have also been engraved in blue.



The watch is powered by an OMEGA Co-Axial caliber 8900 Twin-Barrel. The movement is equipped with the Omega's exclusive Si14 silicon balance spring making, which is anti-magnetic and particularly resistant to shock and external disturbance. The watch has water-resistance of 60 bar / 600 meters / 2000 feet.



Prior to this model, OMEGA also launched a Limited Edition Seamaster Planet Ocean in celebration of the SOCHI 2014 Winter Olympic Games due that was held in February of 2014, in the Russian Federation city of Sochi and a Seamaster 300m for VANCOUVER 2010 Winter Olympics.
