CLERC Hydroscaph GMT Power-Reserve CHRONOMETER

By TLex Built for the deep sea - CLERC presents its latest luxury ocean exploration-machine with an MOP (mother of pearl) GMT sub-dial, a killer lume-job and even more water-resistance than before, it’s another knockout!

The new Hydroscaph GMT Power-Reserve Chronometer, which boasts a complex 83-(individually machined)-part high-tech case is now capable of withstanding up to 800 meters of water-resistance.

The 43.8mm in diameter case, comes in a choice of high-density polished steel, solid steel with a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment; an extremely hard and scratch-resistant coating – or in 18K Rose gold and black DLC-coated steel.

It is endowed with Clerc's patented lateral shock-protection system as well as an exclusive rotational divers bezel (operable by means of a dedicated crown at 10 o'clock), an automatic Helium Escape Valve and a 4mm thick anti-reflective-treated Sapphire crystal.

Like all Hydroscaph models, it has successfully passed a set of tough tests designed to ensure that it meets standards extending well beyond conventional norms: traction, shocks, visibility, magnetism, water-tightness in deep waters, resistance to seawater and corrosion.

The dial of the Hydroscaph GMT Power-Reserve Chronometer which is available in several variations that include: white, midnight blue, chocolate brown or black has a new 24hr GMT sub-dial in mother of pearl and a cool looking orange and grey power-reserve indicator – furthering its high-tech oceanic character. ;)

Powering this latest Hydroscaph is a new Clerc Calibre C610 that has been certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). It has a 42-hour power reserve and a custom circular-grained and open-worked rotor that is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.

The Hydroscaph GMT Power-Reserve Chronometer is presented on a vulcanized rubber or alligator-finish rubber strap secured by a folding clasp complete with safety pushers. Seamlessly integrated with the case, it acts as an extension of the Hydroscaph collection’s signature mobile lugs, designed to ensure a perfect fit on the wrist even over a diving suit. Drool!
