As well as bright green highlights and striking green rubber divers strap; it features luxurious champagne gold detailing.

Each Oktopus Double Date Carbon Green watch case has been individually crafted using LW’s carbon casing technology 3DTP™ (3-Dimensional Thin Ply), each boasts an LW skeletonised double date-wheel complication produced by the prestigious movement specialist, Dubois Dépraz.

It comes in a limited series of just 88 individually numbered pieces. To mark a celebratory start to 2015 in style, the Oktopus Double Date Carbon Green well be offered exclusively at the prestigious Parisian concept store, Colette for a limited period from Friday 16th January 2015. The piece is on general release worldwide as of 26th January 2015, priced at EUR 11,700 / CHF 14,000 excluding VAT.

The Double Date Carbon makes use of evolved design and technical elements to create a unique and exceptional diver presented in striking Green. Evolution, not revolution is key to LW’s spirit, as co-founder and creative mind Morten Linde explains. “On a Linde Werdelin, every little detail is calculated; every millimetre of the watch contributes to the complete design; every nuance has a story.”

Returning the use of revolutionary 3DTP™- or 3-Dimensional Thin Ply, a proprietary method of sculpting carbon into the iconic angular shape of an Oktopus case, the process provides finely-striped facets and a subtle sheen. Integrated with a changeable premium natural rubber strap in striking Green, the Oktopus Double Date Carbon Green boasts unmistakeable champagne gold detailing, achieved with a ceramic treatment called TIN.

TIN accentuates a number of the watch’s specially crafted components, such as the crown, the Titanium screws for the bezel, and for the strap. The iconic octopus engraving on the back case is also presented in TIN and every exclusive piece is individually numbered.

Sitting at 12 o’clock is a skeletonised Double Date complication, developed by Dubois Dépraz and adapted by LW with their custom, skeletonised date wheels. The movement consists of two independent TIN-treated date wheels underneath the dial, which rotate in unison to reveal the date numerals through the aperture. Large hour numerals in a striking printed blue-line Green lume allow divers to read the dial easily underwater.
