OMEGA Seamaster PLANET OCEAN Orange CERAMIC

By TLex Much more than a splash of orange, the new Seamaster Planet Ocean Orange Ceramic showcases OMEGA's craftsmanship and exceptional innovation. It has boasts a brushed and polished 43.5mm 950-grade platinum crafted case with a bi-directional 24hr GMT rotational bezel with a polished orange ceramic inlay (patent pending), a 'World Premiere', which has been proudly engraved on the watch's caseback.

Produced in an Limited Edition of just eight pieces, this stunning version of the Planet Ocean is powered by an exclusive OMEGA Co-Axial caliber 8615 - fitted with a Si14 silicon balance spring. The 8615 can be viewed through a Sapphire crystal on its caseback. Adding to the watch’s already striking appearance are the 850-grade platinum Liquidmetal® numerals, division lines, inner ring and triangle on the bezel.

Sitting below a domed scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal is a stunning sand-blasted 950-grade platinum dial making the perfect contrast against the orange ceramic inlay and the lustrous platinum case. You can’t quite make it out, but there is a ‘Pt950’ engraved just below the orange GMT applique in the center of the dial, which identifies the dial’s material.

Further features of dial include: faceted 18K white gold indexes and central hour - minute - seconds hands, there are the 6 – 9 - 12 numerals, GMT applique and the central GMT hand that rotates once every 24 hours in orange aluminum. The GMT complication can be used with the bezel to help you keep track of time in a second or third time zone.

The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean Orange Ceramic has a water-resistance of 600 meters. It is fitted with an integrated orange leather strap with platinum stitching and a 950-grade platinum fold-over clasp. An orange rubber strap is also delivered with it along with a special tool to change it.
