ALPINA Extreme DIVER 300 ORANGE

By TLex Forget that orange is one of the most highly visible colors in the spectrum and that it’s a perfect fit for a diver owing to the excellent contrast it creates against dark backgrounds – summer’s here! Is there a better time for orange?!

Alpina have launched the new Extreme Diver Orange collection, featuring a 3-hands auto and a mid-size, quartz. Designed for professional divers, the new watches feature luminous orange dive-time scales for enhanced readability.

Both new models share a number of professional dives features. They are water-resistant to a depth of 300m/1000ft, have anti-reflective treated Sapphire crystals, screw-down crowns and casebacks, and are fitted with polished jet black 60min unidirectional rotational divers bezels.

Other shared features include: a matte black dial with white luminous hours. The bright white minute hand has been framed in luminouse orange, the second hand has Alpina’s signature ‘Alpina triangle logo’ – continuing with the theme - this is also in orange. Finally, a large three-day date display can be found at 3 o’clock .

The AL-525 Automatic version has 44mm case. It comes with 38-hours of power reserve. An exhibition caseback affords a view of the AL-525 automatic movement. The AL-240 Midsize quartz model has 38mm case. It comes with 45 months battery life. It has an engraved caseback with a diving theme.

The watches come with a choice of either a rubber divers strap, a metal or metal mesh bracelet with security folding divers clasp. The Extreme Diver 300 Automatic comes in a specially designed gift box, uniquely shaped as a scuba tank, and containing an extra nylon NATO strap.
